If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Its still not as good as new . I will perform the same weekly till this bottle finishes .

I will research on a better product in the mean while . This might be a better product - Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer - 12 oz.

Looks damn good to me!

I use Mothers Back to Black. Worked fantastic on the milky white running boards and rear bumper on my 17 year old (2002) Ford Explorer and brought them back to a nice, deep black tone.

Order yourself a set of these. You will not be disappointed. They are easy to install. You get all six panels. I’ve installed them on my car over a year ago and they still look like new. They are made of a rubber type material. If you’d like, I can snap a picture of them. Just let me know. I used 600 grit sandpaper to prep the surface then wiped it down with alcohol. I’ve had zero problems with them coming loose. I tried the carbon fiber peel and stick sheets and they didn’t last two weeks and those you had to trim to fit. These are manufactured to fit your car. Simply peel and stick. Takes about 30 minutes to install with the preparation I noted above.

I think most of us would be curious to see what they look like on your car.

I believe someone got their B pillar trim replaced under warranty sometime recently.
If you're still within coverage it will be worth a look...

I had my rear window come off track and it was sitting on the outside of the track. As such it scratched the hell out of the C pillar as I attempted to raise it. The dealership ordered the C pillar and they are replacing it under warranty. Now that I'm thinking about it I intend to call and press them to replace all of them....so they match. I'd also be interested in seeing what these rubber peel and stick pieces look like installed. Just in case I'm not able to get them all replaced under warranty and the shiney new piece drives me nuts when it doesn't match the other pieces.

Applied compound, polish and wax on the left. Right one is untreated

I had all six replaced under CPO warranty and my wheels powder coated (under warranty as well).

Hi , how did hyundai replace all the six panels. Was there a fault in the door trims ?
Plastic fading due to 3+ years is normal wear . I asked my hyundai dealer and he said warranty is only if you can prove something is faulty.

likely wasn't warranty, but a Customer Satisfaction Submission, that the dealer usually has to swallow the cost on. unless the parts were peeling (which some owners have experienced) in which case it would be warranty.

They said it was covered. I didn't even have to ask, they pointed it out. My GF's 2011 Suzuki Kizashi has 200k miles, sits outside 24/7 and her sills did not look as bad as mine did at 35k miles.

Also, there was some peeling of the clear coat on the wheels, they gave me a rental for a week and powder coated all of them.

wow - thats almost $500 for plastic parts . Its a RIPOFF .
I remember on the other car i had to replace the electric water pump and was ~$1000 with half of it being labor.
