The sun is so rough on stuff . Its almost as bad as salt, just in a different way.

I rotate my car in the driveway (back in instead of just heading in) so they can get equally baked...

You folks are working too hard. I treat all
Of the plastic, rubber, glass, headlights and paint with one product a few times per year. Turtle Wax Ice liquid. The entire car gets a coat (except the tires). My 2015 looks brand new including the plastic trim around the doors.
