  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

TRK Nation 15 Genesis NightHawk Project

Wow, that has to make for an uncomfortable daily ride. I can't imagine how bad the underside and trim work gets beat up with every tiny bump you drive over. For me at least that looks like a real waste of an already nice stock riding car.
The ride quality is great I can raise and lower it over bumps if it's that serious.

Would not get beat up at all. Would not make it from my garage to the street riding that low. Can it be raised to be driveable?

I guess if the goal is to look uber urban, mission accomplished. :)

Its rides better than stock...but air bags are preferences I have other plans that ties the air bags suspension to the 20x10 wheels to the widebody kit being made...I have a truck too people not my true daily. If you anything about air ride suspension you would understand what I'm saying.

Could you post a pic of your car? Just curious on your styling preferences.

I would never ride that low unless I have skid plates underneath....its just when it's in park...then in drive it automatically adjust to ride height and weight distribution...this is no cheap system people.

Really no point since I pointed out mine is stock. You can google stock Genesis and see.

So what's the point of having this on the car? Why invest so much money?

Preferences brother...building cars is my passion...some people choose cooking, building airplanes...its a hobby an expensive one...but it's my zen. You chose to keep your car stock because you chose that...your preference...I have the money to invest because the car is sentimental to me...im sure there are many genesis with airbag suspension systems. Anyone can buy performance or styling or whatever, I chose to individualize my car...my fiance drives a Maserati I have my company truck as well...but that's beside the point...I like the Genesis brand, best to me hands down, and I've owned many high end cars. I have lots of resources to build and get custom parts made specific for my Genesis.... right now I'm in the shop doing 2018 G80 sport front conversion...but enough about that.

To each their own and I agree an air suspension is nice, but not for turning a classy vehicle into a low-rider (not to mention the ~$5k+ cost). A little customizing can go a long way and make your car unique to you, but going too far makes them look...well...like...I'll just say not good.
Not my cup o' tea but whatever floats your boat. Good luck with it and show us your finished product when done.
