  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

These 4 trouble lights all came on yesterday. I have no idea why.

ABS, ESC, EPB, and AutoHold

I press Autohold off and nothing happens.

I have attached a photo.

Can anyone help me?

I would recommend you have it towed to the dealer; if there's a problem with the ABS, it may not be safe to drive (especially considering the problems with the ABS module on some vehicles). Based on your mileage, it should be under warranty?

Electronic Brake control failure will cause all of those to come on.

Thanks to the 2 that responded.

Took to dealer (scary with the trouble lights, 20 miles), and they said it was just a bad sensor on the left front wheel, should be ok to drive until the part comes in next week. "Just don't tailgate anyone to make sure you don't lock the brakes".

I guess that is it, so maybe problem solved............................

With ESC, EPB, and AutoHold lights ON, you should be able to do a burn out! :D

How much was that sensor? I have the same problem.

There are many ways these three warning signs can come on, including an intentional way to get around the ESC restrictions.
So it might be better to diagnose which component failed, prior to worrying about the cost of said component.
This can either be done using a simple OBDII reader, or by a professional mechanic... just my two cents.

Thanks for the insight! It just started happening today and it's a 2 owner car. Myself and a little old lady. I doubt she bypasses the fuses to disable the ESC to do burnouts lol! I also have not done that. However, you're probably right about getting it checked by a professional. With that being said, I think I'm going to take that advice. Thanks so much again!

My pleasure...
May I also suggest after they try to diagnose the issue, is to ask them remove one of the battery terminals for 10 minutes, at times resetting the ECU yields a positive outcome without the added expense (minus the diagnostics fees).

I had autozone do a OBDII read. when my 2010 did much the same thing. saw nothing. In my case, all warning lights that had anything to do with brakes, including the red parking brake came on while driving. Scary, only happened twice on same trip. Nothing seems wrong. has not happened again.

Out of interest, was it raining heavily? or were you Driving in some heavy sleet/snow?

As I recall, it was not raining I would remember getting wet since I did get out of the car at one point. People do not slow down even with the hazard lights flashing. 80 mph seems really fast when your on the side of the road. Glad the 4.6 is quick enough to get back on the road.
