  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys! Its my first time here.

I have a 2010 3.8 Sedan and the last couple weeks with the cold weather I had some battery trouble, I kept having to get it jumped.

The weather is warmer now, it was about 50 degrees yesterday, and this morning when I got to my car I started it and it didn't seem to want to start, but it reluctantly did, then it felt like it was shaking and wasn't going to stay started. So I shut it off, waited a few minutes and tried it again, and got the same result.

It seemed fine yesterday, there was no check engine or any indicator lights on, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Any thoughts? It has about 100K miles on it, if that makes a difference.

Thank you!!

It is hard to tell from your description what the problem is. Was the RPM very low when it reluctantly started? If so what happens if you press on the gas?

It sounds like your battery is at the end of its life if you had to jump it in the cold weather. I would start with the simple stuff first, replace the battery if it is old and make absolutely certain you have a good connection on each terminal.
