  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I’ve had my 2015 genesis ultimate (certified) lol .. about 3 months and Bluelink unit has never worked. I’ve wasted hours on the phone and dealership... it won’t activate, they’ve replaced the head unit and are going to replace it again next week. Has anyone else had this much trouble I feel like it’s getting ridiculous at this point and getting sick and tired of it.

I had a problem with getting the vin number "cleared" from the old owner. But after that happened havent had any problems thereafter.

+1. Mine still connected to the original owner and I have to send in paperwork to have it changed. I’m not paying an annual fee so I don’t mind. This could be your issue.

Sign on to MyHyundai.com and see if your VIN# is connected to the original owner. If that’s so, that’s your problem.

Yeah I did all that as soon as I got the car...I wish that was all it was. Tuesday they will put in the second new head unit, I noticed upon trying the new head unit where you see WiFi and can see available WiFi is grayed out like it’s not on, I told the engineers about this but they didn’t think it was important. I will give an update when I find out what it was.

Well it’s under warranty so as long as you aren’t paying, it’ll be fixed lol I hope it doesn’t take too long

Speaking of which, what exactly IS the point of the car having wi-fi?

For the 2015 it was supposed to be used with "apps" written for the car, sadly there's only one now and it's a music app that I dont use anyway. I did turn wifi on though and after set up it connects quickly to local hot spots. Turned it back off though. Maybe the newer models use wifi in another way, idk.
