Trunk Emblem Measurements

Hello,

Extremely new here. Just joined last night. I apologize if I am doing anything out of convention. =)

I am trying to find out the exact placement of the winged genesis trunk emblem when they come factory installed.

Could someone maybe direct me to a thread that mentions the exact measurements for this?

For 2015-2016, they only come factory installed in Korea. I don't recall seeing anyone posting exact measurements.

On the 2017 G80, the rear wing does come factory installed for USA models, so you should be able to visit your Hyundai dealer and take some measurements. However, on the G80, the wings are slightly different (more of a 3-dimensional effect in 2017), but maybe the same size.

"Proper location as designed for curvature of the badge and trunk will leave very small portion of NA [North American] left mounting hole exposed but is not really visible without magnifier"

Hmmm. I think I would lower the badge enough to make sure the hole is covered.
