  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Me key fob nor the release switch in the cabin will not operate/open the trunk.

I have to use the key to manualy open the trunk.
I've checked the fuse but it looks good.

I know sometimes a fuse can be bad even though it looks ok.

Anyone got a answer for me?

What about the kill switch in the glove compartment?

I think I know what you are talking about...I'll check that when I get a chance.

Is that some sort of a maual overide in the glove box so the trunk can only be opened with a key?

I was rummaging around in the gb just before this happened and I bet I hit the override switch and I totally forgot about this feature.
I bet that's all it is...thanks man!

My pleasure. It's a pretty frequent question here.
