  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2018 Genesis G80. The button (on the underside of the trunk lid lift area) is cracked/broken. The trunk latch itself works fine, I just want to replace the button. Does anyone know where I might be able to buy one?

It is more of a flat button. I'll try to get a good picture of it.

The part number I gave is the one outside the lid to open it. It's also where the rear view camera is. The other buttons back there would be the close button and lock button (one two button assembly). So, exactly what button are you actually talking about?

This is common. the rubber corrodes so the whole assembly should be replaced except for the actual camera. There are diy instructions here in a few posts. That part number is correct.

Do you happen to know the posters or the thread names for the DIY instruction? Havent found them by searching.

Thanks in advance!
