  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was messing with settings for doors/trunk and note trunk won’t open with pressing latch. Will open pressing button on dash. Valet button is not in active position. Any ideas? Thank you!

It's most likely a wiring issue. The wire can be severed and needs repair. I just had mine addressed as my inner parking lamp would not illuminate, AND, my backup camera was out.

HyperBRUIN, okay that switch had been out for months, but now my backup camera is out also. Can you please tell me what has to be done. I don’t have any warranty on my car.

This thread talks about it.

There is a better one on here somewhere with DIY instructions on repairing the one in the car.
