  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wife has the Genny,so manual not available,I noticed the other day that there's 2 fan buttons on the dashboard, a small one and a large one....... what's with that?

Wow' whatever happened to one fan switch with low,med and hi ?😆

I don't have a 2G Genesis, but if like the 1G then the small fan button lowers the fan speed, and the large fan button raises the fan speed, one step at a time. There are more than 2 speeds (even more than 3).

It's the same on the 2G - and certainly is one of the more intuitively obvious features on the instrument panel.

Well - let's see - on mine there's a big fan icon and a little fan icon

Duh?

Small fan button - lower fan speed
Large fan button - increase fan speed

To see what you're doing: Press the "Climate" button to get to the Climate information screen selection

The fan has at least 8 levels, as can be seen on the Climate information screen.

All this information is on YouTube as well as in the user's manual (in the 2015 manual on page 3-142) - the manual is available on the Hyundai website as a PDF file, in the "MyHyundai" section).

OMG, my Genesis only has two buttons for TEMP. UP and DOWN.

I thought it was a turbo boost +/- ... I was wrong. :clown:

It's not about my feelings at all PMCErnie.

Putting irrelevant information in a thread causes confusion and results in incorrect facts being passed off as true.

Taking a look at your post count, you contribute very little substance to these forums. Over 2,800 posts and most of them are silly remarks or snide comments that are useless to 99.99% of the topics you decide to implant yourself in.

All I said was to keep on subject and provide meaningful information instead of talking about a completely different generation vehicle in the 2015-2016 threads.

If you don't like that or disagree with my statement, you can keep posting any "entralling" information you want. :D

Amway, who died and left you in charge? How long did it take for you to read my 2,800 posts?

A knob is a better interface for a fan speed control, as well as air flow control.
