  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I drive a 2015 Hyundai Genesis ULTIMATE with the 9.2 inch NAV

1) Does anyone else find that the NAV virtually NEVER sets its end address AS THE ACTUAL ADDRESS ONE PUTS IN (whether entered viaBluelink or typing it in) (I think).

Put in 1313 Mockingbird Lane, and once calculated the end point is likely to be 15 Valentine Street which will be, say, directly around the corner. Sounds like nothing, but in NJ which has no left turns off main roads it can be 20 minutes believe it or not, and in Manhattan traffic it can also be ten minutes to re-circle a block, never mind that sometimes it's not AT ALL clear where the PROPER address is.

Anyone have this problem and find a fix?

2) When you push the red "button" on the lower right FACE of the Nav once route shows to see details, I want it to do what details does on EVERY OTHER GPS/directions map IN THE WORLD which is show THE STEPS YOU WILL TAKE ON YOUR ROUTE.

Instead, it shows additional exits or streets ALONG THE ROUTE BUT NOT THE ROUTE ITSELF. I want those details to see ahead. If I want to know what's ALONG the route for a pit stop I can go into the NAV to get that. And yes: I use the HUD and the MAP to see where I'm going, but sometimes you want to know exactly what the NEXT turn on your route is CALLED as it may not be clear from HUD or map precisely which turn you need to take.

Again: anyone found this and changed it?

Thanks!!!! :grouphug:
