Upgraded my 3.8 Genny to a 4.6 V8.

No longer need these two new oil filters for the 3.8 V6 engine (with O ring/washers included).

I thought the same oil filter works on both V6 and V8, except that V6 came with extra washer, so that filter may work fine on V8. I thought that Hyundai just includes all the washers and o-rings needed by either V6 or V8 in same box, but I guess Wix does not do that.

According to other posts, the indentical filter sold as Purolator costs about $4 each at auto parts store, so shipping would cost almost as much as filter.

Besides, I'd take a WIX filter over a Purolator any day.

The Wix, Purolator, and Hyundai OEM filters are identical, except that there two versions out there, one white plastic, and the original black plastic.
