  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

hi team

I seem to have excessive tyre wear on left rear tyre om the inner only.
All alignment has been done but still seems to be wearing faster?
Is this a issue on the 2015-2016 Genisis?

My 2015 3.8 rwd has worn tires evenly. No issues.

So i had this problem too when i still had my car and you have to take it to a non dealer shop and tell them to center the tire even if its out of spec because according to hyundai, slight camber is “in spec”. In other words, you could have slight negative camber that will wear your inner tire thats very noticeable to the naked eyes and take it ti the dealer for an alignment and they say its still in spec.

All the time 7 years I own this car it is wearing tyres a bit more in the inner side.
Every year I'm making alignment and it is like that... Dealer said this is how the car is built.
I'm buying new rear tyres every 30k km no matter of the brand premium or not

I've had even tire wear front and back with no alignments at all since 2018 when I bought the 2015 3.8 rwd ultimate sedan. The car has 72,000 miles and is on its 3rd set of tires; whatever original tires from 2015 to 2018 probably Hankooks, then Pirelli P7s when I bought it off a 3 year lease, and now Goodyear Eagles. Love the eagles. Not bad at all for a heavy sedan.
