  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The entire lamp along with its plastic housing broke off. The bolts are still screwed into the clips which broke off the bumper.
So basically my bumper has no more of those clips where you screw the bolts in.

I cannot imagine buying a new bumper just for this.

Will some sort of glue and reattachment method to re-attach these broken clips to the bumper work?

Or, how the heck can I set the fog lamp unit back tight in place? Gentlemen

Thanks

Use JB Weld Plastic Weld.
You're gonna have to take the bumper off and secure the fog light up while it bonds.

Use JB Weld Plastic Weld to reattach the broken clips back on the bumper, right? Just the clips.

Then, after they dry off and all good, screw in the whole heavy lamp unit, right?

Thanks

Yes you can do it that way. Or see if you can mount it with the fog attached. That way you know it's aligned properly.
