need to charge battery, cannot open trunk

If you can get INTO the cabin, then pop the hood. Under the hood, you will find a black box with a cover. On passenger side. Remove the cover and you will find the "jump" or charge connections. Connect a charger there. Or use the metal key hidden in the fob. Look up under the deck lid overhang, to left of license plate, and you see the key insertion point to manually unlock trunk.
