  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

A few weeks back my wife was on a call in my car (2015 Ult.) using her new iPhone. There was no pairing process, so as far as I can tell it did not go through the car. Since that time, I now have a Pandora and Aha app listed in the media section. I don't have these apps installed on my Android phone (she does), but if my phone is in the car, the apps show up in the media section. No phone in the car... no app reference. I've reset the dash (in system info) but as soon as I pair my phone, the apps show up. This is even after I remove the stored bluetooth/Genesis settings in the phone. The apps do not work.

I've gone through every folder on my phone using a file manager and have found zero references to those apps (unless they are named something other than their obvious names). No help from Verizon or two local dealers.

Ideas as to how to remove them?

Solved (by my wife... thank you babe!). In the phones bluetooth settings, I overlooked a 'media files' button that was on. Still would like to know how those app references were transferred. Sad that a Google Pixel (my phone) specialist couldn't help and said it was a car problem.
