**UPDATE 2/01/10** Replacement Tires...here is some info.

Well...they arrived at 7:00 PM last night.

Ordered Monday...arrived Wednesday.

Now I need some legal advice...HA!

With my old tires, I plan on pulling the ECS fuse and roasting some rubber but I have no clue as to what the cops can do to me if I am in an empty parking lot out in the country.

Would this be a reckless driving ticket?
Will they take me to jail?

No lives will be in danger except mine...so is that reckless?

Anywho, I guess Ill just take the chance. I'm still trying to sniff out a good location to do this. I'm going to set up my tripod and HD camera and just have fun with it.

If you are on private property they have no legal jurisdiction. On the other hand, the owners of the property could have an issue with it and then you'd be back to your police problem again.

Ok! I at Minor Tire and Wheel here in Decatur, AL and just realized they have free Wi-Fi! I'm getting the tires installed for $30 a tire.

This includes:

Road-Force Balancing
Lifetime balancing
Nitrogen (I guess they put gas instead of air in the tires) with free "tip offs" for the life of the tire.

I guess it's a good deal!

However, it's been raining for 3 days and I have not had the opportunity to smoke them as I said earlier. I don't feel like putting my $1000 HD camera on a tripod in the rain! I will have videos in the future. Trust me, these cheap tires won't last long either!!! HA!

Oh well, I'll give a full update after a few miles or so on the tires and the nitrogen setup.
