  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have the 2013 Gen 3.8L sedan with premium package and therefore the 18" stock wheels (18 x 7.5 w/ 39mm offset) and tires. I really like the look of the stock 19" wheels (19 x 8 w/ 39mm offset) on the R-spec sedans. I am interested in upgrading to those wheels around the time the factory original tires need replaced.

Does anyone know of any issues or problems doing so?

It looks like offset of the two wheels is identical at +39mm. With the additional half inch of wheel width the resulting setup with the 19" wheels would be 6mm less inner clearance and they would extend an extra 6mm from the stock setup externally speaking.

Any comments, advice or knowledge from anyone who has done it or any of you senior members who know the ins and outs of this car so well?

Don't listen to the drama queens on this board. The ride, even with RSpec suspension, which your car doesn't have, is firmer but by no means harsh.

I have them on my V6 Tech and I love them. Check out pictures in the Genesis Pictures forum under kev4. I got them on ebay for $900 including tires, shipping and since I am in Canada the duty was about $100. Tires had 500 miles on them and they were in new condition.
