USB drive

My USB drive doe not work in my 2012 genesis. It has hundreds of songs. It does work in my 2017 Fiat 500E. Any help please.

I don't know the file type. I have them in iTunes, Apple computer. How do I find it?

Sorry I won't be much help with Apple. I do recall having trouble getting a certain file type to be read by my 2013 Genesis a few years ago and had to convert them to .mp3

Files have to be mp3 as I recall. Also I think the size limit is 32 gig total.

Should have got the 2013 or 14...as the infotainment/audio systems are updated.

I wish I had just one year newer for some of those upgrades. One thing I have noticed, is if I do a shuffle of the music on a USB, it seems to do the same exact playlist every shuffle. It never changes, takes the point out of shuffling. I hope they fixed that.
