  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mods; Have looked for a common thread without success... if this is not the place... please have your way with it.

Recently joined the forum due to the many positive aspects of the Hyundai Genesis; features/value, head to head, and reviews.

The pros/cons have swayed me to acquire not one, but two 2009 CPO Genesis 3.8 with the Technology package each.

There was one trade-in... a too thirsty 2001 Yukon Denali ... just under 100,000 miles.

Originally listed @ $28.9 (@ 26,000 miles) and $26.5 (@22,400 miles) = asking $55,400 + taxes + fees - almost $59,000 total.

When a new loaded Genesis 3.8/Tech is running in the $40k range...
The overall cost combined plus trade-in becomes a bigger value: roughly $46,600 total out of pocket for both cars.

Works for me. :D

If you donn't need a truck then why not get two? I happen to need and use my GMC 4WD Suburban to haul stuff with seats folded down and use it for towing a boat. But I feel your pain on gas around town, I'm lucky to get 9mpg around town in the GMC.

True... before trading it in, was hauling a 7,000 lb BBQ trailer for competitions/charity events... 10 mpg highway.
The Denali's final task was bringing home the Mrs'. Genesis on a rented car transport trailer.
