  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Took a peek around just for fun. Some really good deals out there. Not sure what transfers over to the new owner if it is sold privately or by a non-Genesis dealer.

But...found my exact car. 3.3T AWD Sport...SI with gray stitching....only TWO HUNDRED miles on the sucker.

Selling for $43k before any sort of negotiating. Wow.

Now that they are starting to hit the used market...we'll see how our residual values hold up (or down). For us lease folks that is.

By no means did I create this thread for posting used G70 deals. But rather for discussing the used market...thoughts...predictions, etc.

I posted the one above because...well...I created it and wanted to as an example :)

Anyone looking to buy a G70 near that area (or willing to travel) should hop on that ASAP. Your warranty will likely be cut to 5yrs/50k miles or something, but you can take the extra money you saved, buy a extended warranty, and still likely come out on top

I bet the headliner shakes like a horny prom date...the radio cycles on/off...and it probably stops in the middle of intersections. LOLOLOL.

Before you are hopping right on it, I’m sure you will be researching the title, maintenance and accident record.

She's clean :) Looks like it might have been sold to another dealer. So not owned by an individual...that I can tell.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
When I bought my G70 the sales manager (not salesman) said that second sale was a used car transaction and connected services, 10 yr/100k mi did not convey.

I'm still trying to understand this, tbh. The only explanation I can think of is a repo
So I was pretty curious as well. Called them....they are a MB dealer.

Apparently a person did buy it. Did not like it (multiple golf clubs didn't fit...DUH!!!)...and went with a high-end MB (traded in to the MB dealer).
Since the dealer does not deal with Genesis, etc...they are just looking to get rid of it !!!

Wow...what a smokin' deal !!! I bet with some good skills...you could get that down to $41k...or even $40k !!! That would be ~23.8% below MSRP...but who knows about the warranty and all the stuff you would normally get for free (3 years).

That car was just purchased July 6th, in Michigan, by an individual. No warranty claims other than the PDI.

Added for completeness: Sales manager said that a transfer to a family member, or inheritance, and a few other such special changes of ownership may allow conveyance of original new purchaser benefits.

Wonder how much the dealer gave them to trade it in.
