  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does front screen work to watch movies/video with 2012 Tech and premier pkg? When I plug in Android phone into earphone on aux it says no video signal. Does built in DVD changer play movie on the screen?

Yes it plays DVD's but you can only view when parked.

The 2009 Tech package can display analog format audio+video signals fed to it via the small 1/8th inch submini jack. I assume later Tech packages can as well since the hardware hasn't changed. Video can not be sent through the USB port though. I posted the pinout of the jack a long time ago; use the SEARCH command to find posts by me with the words video and cable. I proved this to myself with a Canon digital camera's video out port and with one of those digital-to-analog TV converter boxes.

And video only works when the transmission is in the Park position, same as it does for DVD playback.

The audio is stereo (Left + Right) and video has to be "NTSC" format (same as old analog TV) in the US cars.
