  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After renewing all 3 packages of connected services I noticed something on the iphone Genesis app that wasn’t there before. On the home page it says on top left “valet mode: INACTIVE”. Funny thing is I’ve NEVER used that feature in the 3 yrs I’ve had my car, but now it suddenly says that? Does “inactive” mean it’s not currently on or that I don’t have that feature available to use if desired? I honestly don’t plan on using it anyway, but was wondering if anyone else sees that on their app too and why? Thanks

Since no one responded yet I was just told from customer care that a recent update on the iphone app now shows your valet mode status which apparently was requested by many owners. Seems worthless but guessing others also see this on their iphone app too.
