  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis GV60
We took our GV60 in for its 5th issue in 20 months. Front hood gap adjustment 1 week after purchase, 2 ICCU program updates, 12V battery recall and now the ICCU must be replaced.

I asked the dealer about the at home service and was told they only do the vale service for scheduled maintenance and not anything covered under warranty. Surely this cannot be right.

From the Genesis Canada website regarding valet service:

"Just because your vehicle is in need of service, doesn't mean your world needs to stop. That's why Genesis comes to you. Your Genesis Complimentary 5-Year Care Plan includes vehicle pick-up and drop off at a location of your choice, along with a courtesy vehicle to keep you moving at your own pace. Complimentary for 5 years or 100,000 km, whichever occurs first, and available to guests within 50 km (driving distance) of the nearest authorized Genesis distributor.*"

If you read through any Genesis forum or group, you will see that this is a real issue. My dealer is fine, but I read on here there are a lot of dealers that are not. Sorry you got a sucky one.

Do you have a standalone dealership, or a combined Hyundai/Genesis one? Most of the problems I read about here are with the combined dealerships.

I'm lucky to have a great standalone Genesis dealership in Minneapolis.

I had the same discussion with my dealership. Since then they have new management and never really had an issue getting a loaner. I am out of service valet now so when I asked when I get my next service which will take 4 to 7 hours will I get a loaner...the SA response...will try to get you one. When I had MB and Audi Audi gave me one for anything even out of warranty. If they still make the TT or the 2 door S5 I would have gone back.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Do you schedule your appointments online? Dealerships for all three of my cars have a box to click if you need a loaner and adjust the calendar availability accordingly.

If you are going to wait/need a shuttle ride/ have someone pick you up a different calendar - with more and closer in dates - comes up.

I've never had a problem getting a loaner, though once waiting for parts my Infiniti dealership asked me to stop by and swap out the large SUV I had for a sedan.
