  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

who collects a 1980s Ford Crown Vic, LOL.

BTW nice Veloster. my daughter wants one when she starts driving in another year..

Whoa, they are asking 37K?? Sticker price is; a bit over $29K? 7K increase over MSRP seriously!

Honestly, this is 10K higher than the proposed 250 hp version price. Hyundai stated, they were going to be asking around 29-32K 250 -275 hp respectively against the Civic Type R, Volkswagen R and WRX Subaru. What gives?

What's the actual retail sticker price of the one on the showroom floor? Can you post the full shot of the actual window sticker? Whats the 4995.00 Fir market price bump in price?

Not really uncommon for a niche limited production vehicle, dealerships are theiving scum and will rip you off any way they can.

I remember with the Viper ACR came out and dealerships were marking it up $50k-$75k over MSRP.

Even now there are still brand new 2017 Viper ACRs for sale with an MSRP of $98k and a dealer asking price of $160k-$200k

It's not being considered as a limited production model by Hyundai.

Is it price gouging and greed? Is it a true fair market value price? I believe it's a bit of all three. When you advertise and release the official prices thru Auto Magazines like; Car and Driver, Auto Trend. Then advertise it will out price the competition and a dealer decided to over price the vehicle, it's a hit against the dealer and Hyundai as well.

I remember when the Ford GT500 Shelby came out. We purchased one for MSRP but there were allot of dealers who were over pricing it by nearly 20K. They set on them for literally years.

Remains to be seen if dealers will be able to sell them at such inflated prices. Of course there are always those who will spend the money just because they can but this isn't a true representation of those who won't because it's over priced.

We are looking to downsize into a sporty vehicle maybe two but we aren't going to pay artificially inflated prices to get them.

It's certainly not a good way to introduce the model and is similar to shooting yourself in the foot in the process.

Mine like hers '16 turbo. I wanted to get her a new Tuscon AWD, but she said no, lol

That's pretty sweet, but still prefer the i30N.

The Theta III 2.5T (300 HP) can't get here soon enough.

There have been indications that the 3.3T Stinger outsold the 2.0T for 2018 and Kia thought that the turbo-4 would be the volume seller by far.

Not even an upcoming Tucson-N?

No, it was '18 1.6t AWD. She's not into cars as far I can see, thank God, otherwise she'd ruined me :D

Mine is. We are planning out building a ‘69 mustang fastback for her, that is what she really wants but I told her not for a first car, she needs to learn to drive first. Likely a college graduation present.
