  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When I got my 2024 the manual said some models have ventilated seats that come on automatically based upon ambient temperature and other factors (sorry, don’t have manual with me). I can’t find any settings for it and my dealer was worthless. Anyone have this function?

My 2025 G70 has ventilated seats, but I am not aware of any automatic function. They are controlled by a touch button on the heating/cooling section of the touchscreen.

The correct sequence for Brembo brakes is to bleed the caliper with the most brake lines first. Start with the front left, then front right, followed by the rear right, and finish with the rear left.

This is from page 3-4 in the 2023 G70 Owners Manual (couldn't download the 2024 for some reason), but from the wording it does sound like it can automatically control the seat temp, at least on some trims. Nice feature if it's true. Respond back here if you get it to work.

EDIT:
FYI - the same verbiage was in my 2022 GV70 Owners Manual, so I started up the car and there are NO options for automatically controlling (driver) seat temperature. They either eliminated it or it doesn't mean what I think it means (my guess it's the latter). Cheers.

I read that manual instruction as the seats maintain the setting chosen by the driver, lo, med, hi, regardless of changes in the ambient interior temperature. Not that the seats operate automatically, that is, independent of driver choices on the dash. They do not start independent of driver setting and they do not move lo-hi depending on changes of interior air temperature.

I'm still a little baffled by the language they used, but whatever. I wasn't expecting this when I bought it, so no harm, no foul.

Okay, here is from my 2024 owners manual……

Well, I am having trouble posting a picture of the manual so I have cut down the file. Here is what it says about the automatic setting, and it says you can over ride the automatic setting.
