  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this on a 22+. If the car is stopped in drive, I can see the driver's side headlight beam vibrating up and down. Very obvious shining on a flat surface. In Park, it's pretty much gone. No issue on the passenger side in D or P. Would this be an issue with the projectors being too loose or is it just something to live with on this headlight design? Putting my hand just above both headlights while the car is idling, I can feel a little bit more vibration on the driver's side compared to the passenger.

Im having the same issue. Had it in for service twice and they say nothing is wrong with light. Its really bad when driving. Did you ever figure out what the issue was? Its driving me crazy

I am also having this issue. I've noticed if I turn the headlights off and back on the wobble/shaking stops. Did either of you find a fix for this?

any solution or found whats wrong?

I had my headlight inspected by Genesis - they were able to replicate when testing 1/20 times. They checked with Genesis Technical Support but there are no known concerns with flickering headlights with my Genesis model (MY22), nor is there a bulletin from Korea regarding that concern.

They are recommending waiting until the flickering becomes more frequent, making it easier to replicate the concern, capturing it via video and sending it to them for analysis.

I finally got a replacement headlight! The technician drove my car, and was able to see the flickering. He submitted it through the warranty and genesis didn't have an issue with replacing it. The work order states "projector housing unit loose causing light to shake while driving over bumps, but nothing like it was previously." Unfortunately they forgot to adjust the headlight after installing. I do still notice the light shaking when driving on the interstate, especially when the road dips going over bridges. Hopefully once both headlights are adjusted it won't be as noticeable as before. I have a 2024 G70 3.3 Prestige. Ive had so many issues with this car. After 3800 the engine had to be removed due to the rear engine gasket leaking oil. Working with Genesis to see what my options are since the car has been out of servjce for 54 days since I bought in the July. To date its had just over 15k in warranty work. 😬

That's a sad history w/ your current G70, hope your dealer is nearby and they've provided a loaner for all that time.

They're about 45 minutes away so it's not too bad. Thankfully they have always had a loaner. When I got my car back last week they had damaged all the plastic in the engine bay. Missing bolts and screws every where. For Genesis to be a luxury brand they sure don't give luxury service. My case was advanced up to Lemon department, im just waiting to hear back from them. Ive attached some pics of the damage. Also if anyone could send me a photo of there 3.3 e give with the cover off I would greatly appreciate it. I feel like the foam on mine isn't correct. Ive looked online and wasnt able to find anything.

Looks like they put gorillas in your engine bay. Here's a couple 3.3 cover pics I took.20251009_130302.webp20251009_130252.webp

Wow that’s terrible. Not sure if this helps but here is one I have from doing the plugs.

Edit: realized you were looking for a picture of the cover and not engine bay lol
Yeah its ridiculous how they treated my car. She has 3400 miles on her. If you have a photo of the engine bay with the cover off please share! Another issue that came up while they my car, I had it Valet Mode and they let a tech drive my car home after the engine was put back in. I woke up at 230 am with all kinds of notifications, he was out joy riding in my car at midnight hitting a top speed of 106 mph! I didnt have an issue with a tech driving my car but to be out that late at those speeds is uncalled for. I took the car back yesterday to have a scheduled meeting with the manger and of course he "busy" yet I saw him walking around the lot with another guy.
