  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2009 3.8.

I felt the vibration at driver's seat in only D when stopping. Nothing on driving.

Why causes the vibration of seat?

Has anyone had similar issue?

Hi there i see this was post 2 years ago but i recently purchased a 2013 coupe track and i noticed a huge vibration at driver seat when i started my car in the morning, left my car to service. Is your problem solved or what was the problem?

They called from service to confirm they noticed the vibration but it wasn`t motor mount. Still investigating. Suspected from bad gas. Will update again.

It isn't bad gas. I suspect (and I go back with Hyundai to 1989!) is Hyundai knows about the issue and chooses to do nothing. This has been their pattern (at least with me) since then. Shame on supposedly their premier cars.

Seat and steering wheel vibration is not BAD GAS as the dealers love to tell you its the motor/trans mounts most likely at least it was for me and others. Good luck it is not a fun fight but worth it as any vibration is not normal.

The part that really disappointed me was that two separate dealers sat in the car and told me "Yeah I feel it; but they all do that......" like that statement makes it acceptable some how?!? Stay the course and be firm but kind in your dealings with Hyundai. Good luck!
