Vibration when AC on high

With the AC on my 2016 3.8 vibrate when the car is stopped (idling ) it's more evident when the fan is at higher speeds, when I turn off the whole AC the vibration disappear and sometimes when I turn it on again it does not vibrate as hard as before, reading another thread I found that another member (AutinTX) has the same problem. Definitely its someting related with the AC system, fan paddles out of balance maybe? Any other with this problem?

I have the same exact problem on my 2016 3.8. The car is going in on Tuesday for that and the noises coming from the sunroof, I'll report back what I find.

At low engine speeds you are going to notice the A/C Compressor running and its drag on the engine at idle will likely cause some vibration. I notice it more, but I can't say it really bothers me. As soon as revs increase the vibration is negligible.

I know what you say, all cars vibrate a little bit when idling and A/C is on but the vibration in my 3.8 is harder than it should be, even my wife's Sonata vibrate way less.

i had the same problem i took in it 5 times for it i told them it was the fan when its on high speed it was like a droning vibration they changed the fan GONE remember the mechanics today are not mechanics they are part changers i had to figure out the problem

Thanks for your response. I think mine has the same thing. I'm planning a trip to my dealer in these days.

same thing with my 5.0 changed the fan. been about 6 months or so....vibration is back. I think the fans throw themselves out of balance or loose the little weights that clip on.

I received a call back from the dealership yesterday saying that the tech said that the noise and vibration was "completely normal". I told them that can't be possible because the loaner Genesis that I have exhibits no vibrations and I can't hear any noise coming from under the hood and that I was a bit concerned if someone couldn't feel that because the vibration through the seats and entire car was extremely obvious. They're taking another look at it today so hopefully there will be good news by the end of the day. They did however find the creaking noises from the rear shade and sunroof and said that they were working on that so at least there is some progress! On another note its amazing how used to all of the technology in the Tech Package 3.8 that I have because the base model loaner seems like a completely different car without it!
