  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i have a 2015 3.5 lately when the rad fan kicks on high the vibration is felt in the car it gets worse when the car is idling for more then 10 min.took it to the dealer no fault codes the fan works but it feels like its out of balance they looked at me like i was crazy i said to them sometimes it gets real bad like the idle is real low but its not i wonder has anyone experienced the same thing its getting real annoying

I remember reading on here where someone had a faulty pulley either AC or tensioner pulley.

Pretty sure I saw a thread or three on here over the past year about having the fan and/or fan motor replaced due to a balance issue. Do a search for "radiator" and I am sure you will find some results. Should be replaced under warranty - code or not.

i tried looking for that post could not find it but thanks guys

had the a/c electric fan replaced under warranty. it threw off one of the balancing weights. fixed with new fan. vibration was felt through the whole car when the a/c fan would turn on and off.

I went to the dealer they turned on the fan with the car off no vibration I did notice the water pump pulley was a little wobbly would the cause a vibration I don't know yet they had to order one I hope it solves my problem

Keep us posted

no update yet they just received the part today i have a app on wed so i hope this works i doubt it because my friend is a mech for mb he told me the battery may be bad and there is a load on the alt now its a waiting game and prob many visits to the dealer

That's been a dead breed for a while. Going to another shop will not change this. If the computer doesn't tell them - then they don't it anymore.

I've also experienced this same issue, 2015 3.8 sedan. A/C compressor has been replaced, now replacing motor mounts (parts on order). I personally think it's likely someting on the associated with the A/C as I only feel the vibration with the A/C on. I know it's been mentioned about the fan balancing, I suppose that could be it but find it hard to believe that could be felt in the wheel. Will see. Next visit I might suggest dropping in the 5 liter motor :)
