  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I took my 2015 for the first oil change came home to find my driveway filled with oil they towed me and took care of it. 2nd oil change they did my throttle body fuel induction whatever it’s called service 1k miles later my fuel injectors got ruined and car stalled going home. I take it to Hyundai since it’s under warranty but then again I find it hard to trust dealerships service department.

Bummer. What were the explanations for the service mishaps?

1st is oh I forgot to torque the oil plug, 2nd one of your injectors were open we don’t know how it don’t worry it’s under warranty. 🤷‍♂️

Family all warned me don’t take your car to e dealer they’ll have fun with it just to have you come back they hit jackpot the first time.

All I can say is be careful when taking your vehicle to a dealership for simple services. I hope this isn’t a common problem with Genesis service dep.

2nd problem has the fuel pressure pump replace and even that they could do right ripped the foam piece in half and expected me to say nothing about it. 65E41CE8-A1E7-4043-ADCC-FDD2CF8AC521.webp

Check the forums for every car brand and auto repair chain. They all have similar problems at times. Warranty aside, if you find a good shop, stick with them.
