  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndim1RxM9eA&feature=rec-HM-fresh+div"]YouTube - Hyundai Genesis - QUATRO RODAS[/ame]

It's from a Brazilian website.

I like the air suspension shot. I like the grill we got better.

I'm personally glad that grille didn't make it. It makes the car look like a the refreshed Sonata from the front. It's simply not bold enough. The only thing Hyundai could/should have done differently is color-match the metallic silver sections of the grille to that of the car. It ties it to darker colors better and the chrome trim stands out more IMO.

Better???

Now, the rear seat climate/audio controls, adjustable air suspension, power-folding mirrors, and auto-close trunk on the other hand. Those are features I wish did make it as options. ;) Maybe they'll be included in an Ultimate Package at some point for those who really want them. Based on current sales levels, I think there'd be at least a hundred people per month that would spring for a $43k V6 or $45k V8 Genesis. With this last bit of feature content it truly would beg the question: Why spend $30k more for a similarly-equipped LS460?

jwaters, I couldn't agree more. I prefer the look of the current grille over this one. The motorized trunk is something I've long said I wish they would have included on the Genesis but I never thought about the adjustable air suspension. That would be awfully nice. The Mercedes E500 I had also included this option. For most all of my driving the sportiest mode was my favorite but for long trips I would put it in its most "comfort" mode. I didn't like the "over flexibility" at first but grew to enjoy it.

What's with the auto open/close trunk lid? Why didn't we get that???

Looks like a hybrid between the Genesis and Equus at parts.

Ditto!

As a prospective buyer, put me down for one of the $45K V8s!

I agree, I like our grill better, but, I do wish we've gotten the power trunk, folding outside mirrors and cooler passenger seat - specially in Miami!

Also, I must say I like the rims - not that I don't like my Tech. Pckg rims, but, those look a little sportier!

I wonder if our US model is pre-wired for the power trunk? If so that could be a great rainy day project to retofit into a US car.

I wish. Anyone else know whether this is the case?
