I called and emailed several times like many of you and wasn't able to get mine activated that way. They created the ticket/case number and still couldn't get things together on their end. I seemed to get a different answer about why each time I called. The last rep I talked to told me to go to my local dealership and have them enter the VIN clear for me. I did and it went through immediately. It was working before I pulled out of the parking lot. I guess Hyundai considers the dealer request legit but the owner request has to be verified. The benefit from the dealer request too was 3 months free on all three MyHyundai subscriptions.
