  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Probably the same reason why you have "wing badges" on your car.
Looks.

Hey, better to ask than to assume, right?

At any rate, it has been done before - the DUB Magazine has a white model with the black roof.

Nice find!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks nice! Looks like mine will be next....

Not exactly. We have wing emblems because we ashamed to drive a Hyundai, and need something to fill up the holes in the trunk after we remove the "H".
I've been wanting to hack into the splash page that pops up when the car first starts so i can replace the "H" with the wings logo. Haven't cracked the code yet, but still working on it. Once that's done all traces of Hyundai will have been eradicated (except for the etching on the window glass). However, I for one wear the Hyundai badge with pride - I had an Azera for 4 years before buying the Genesis and never felt a minute's shame. But the Genesis is a whole nother thang...:D

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Do you think the DUB edition had a candy white paint applied? It almost looks too white to be the Satin Pearl.

Also, what does anyone know about painting OEM wheels? Those white rims look sweet! I know there is a lot to consider when painting rims but....

For some of us, this is our first Hyundai, and it takes a little getting used to. It is not so bad to tell someone who sees the car that it is a Hyundai, but a little uncomfortable to tell someone who has not seen the car that I drive a Hyundai. But things are changing.

Several years ago Hyundai had a bad rap, and deservedly so. Their cars were cheap and unreliable. However, in the past 8 years or so they have advanced by light years and can compete with the best in the world. The Genesis is great, the Equus looks good (but a little over the top for my taste), the 2011 Sonata is stunning, and the new Elantra/Avante looks great.

Now, that looks sharp!
See? Not too bad, eh? :D

Well.. I do see how it'll look kinda out of place on a stock Genesis with no other exterior modifications.
It'll probably look better on a 'souped up' car.

The reason why this appealed to me was because I get to try a different look without painting the whole thing.
If it doesn't look too good, it's always reversible with virtually no damage.
