  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

VIP exhaust interest?

BUT...if you can build a prototype, install it and dyno the car before and after installation and it show some significant amount of gains...I may be more inclined to buy! :)

I believe this is the main issue.... any person, especially car enthusiast are not going to jump up and buy something unless there is a prototype, testing and positive results. Hear say is not sufficient to justify any purchase, especially in this economy.

esptuning: I believe that until you can show build, dyno results and actual testing (vids and such), this is going to fall to deaf ears. Another thing, the Genesis is fairly new, so you'll need to patiently wait until more owners show up. We have a good amount of members but I believe that most of us have been around long enough to know what is expected when investing in any mod. I'm not questioning your business, but people have been burned before, which makes us much more cautious and what expectations need to be met. Maybe the first question to ask is what the members would like to see in an exhaust mod; then take it from there. :)

I'm really surprised to se any intrest at all in an aftermarket exhaust. The Genesis 4 door, which is the only Genesis you can buy at this time, is a luxury car. I have not seen any top of the line Infinitis or Lexus with louder exhausts.
When the Genesis coupe comes out I see a big demand as it will be bought as a sporty type vehicle. I am dreading the first time I see one with a fart pipe exaust tip.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Gold Z - i encourage you to go to club lexus to see what people have done with their gs and ls cars.

bigelm - i agree with you. i was putting it on the table. no interest mean it's back on the shelf until a later date

and for all people: i was looking for interest, not selling anything. if there was interest, i would actually do the R&D, develop, create prototypes, and do dynos. however, i would not waste my money nor time doing this if nobody is even interested. I could understand if people were reluctant to give me money to create this prototype and then wait for a promise that it will be made, but the fact that there is NO interest (besides 1 or 2 people), the money would be better invested in something else - either for parts for the upcoming coupe or for other items for the sedan.

Well, I for one would be interested.... but it seems I won't get my Genesis till another 1-2 months, hopefully.

Gold Z: I have seen plenty of Lexus' and Infiniti's with aftermarket exhaust... please don't confuse the aftermarket (upgrade) efforts with these knock off fart cans (as you put it).
