At this point, i might as well pull over and type in the destination as that seems to work. I thought the whole point of voice was to provide this functionality verbally

I agree 100%, when you compare the Genesis navigation to Waze, Google maps, or even Apple navigation, the GV80 navigation is years behind. I commented a year ago, I would ask for a place by NAME, maybe 60 miles away, it could not act out this function. Ask Starbucks in my town/city no problem. Ask for Starucks in a town 60 miles away, impossible. I have no idea what good the function of the voice command.. Well I live in Canada, it doesn't work. Maybe in USA it works. As you say, if necessary you can type in an address, but voice, ?????
