I may be crazy, but I can's seem to figure this out...
2023 GV60 with the latest software update and wireless carplay.
So, I am not using carplay, I am simply connected to the vehicle via bluetooth. In the Bluetooth iPhone settings, everything is enabled and everything works...EXCEPT...when I receive a text message (or I-message), I can view the text on the screen in the vehicle. The options to listen, read, reply etc are available, and all work. However, when I select reply, the list of available "built-in" replies are shown and are selectable and work. However, when I select the microphone to the left of the listed replies, a message appears that says this function is not available. So I cannot reply using my voice, I can only reply using the built-in replies (and yes i know that they can be modded). But I am fairly positive that before I did several updates going back to last year, this function was available, an in fact, my buddy who has the exact same car (same year) with the same updates, swears he can voice a reply.
So the question here is what am I not getting to make this work properly? I would really appreciate anyone who could shed some light and help get this fixed because it's an important feature that I would like to use and I can't stand the way that carplay takes over everything, and I like the way the Genesis software looks and feels.
