  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Year

Genesis Model Type
Genesis G90
Once I discovered the g90 I have continued to read/watch reviews and write ups anywhere I could. Recently drove one in palm Springs. My plan is to buy a used one in about a year. Currently have a towncar that will be ready to retire. Additionally I want to pay cash. Currently am thinking about renting one for the day to really get a feel for the car prior to spending 80/90k. Will check back often.

You may not want to pay cash. Bought a car in May. Got a $700 incentive to finance with HMFC. Made one big payment, then three small ones. Total interest paid was about $30.

Thanks for the feed-back. All options will be reviewed

We did the same thing a few years ago. Financed to get the rebate. Paid off the loan in 3 equal payments. Great advice!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. What year is your Town Car? With your short experience, what did you think of the G90 compared to the Lincoln? How was the ride?

Town Car is 2007 with 103k miles basically love it but nothing is forever. The ride I had in the g90 was great and performed as expected. Unfortunately, the ride was too short. Need to rent one for a day really get a sense of how the car ”fits” me. I’m 6’5” and leg room and seat configuration is important.

I've always been a big fan of the Town Car since the 70s when it was the Lincoln Continental Town Car. I knew it's demise was coming when the Cadillac Fleetwood was discontinued in 1996... The MKT was no replacement, in my opinion, and neither was the last generation Continental. Though I do feel it was a nice car. I hope you find the G90 to be everything a 2023 Lincoln Town Car would have been...
