Wanted: Exhaust Headers for R-Spec

Anybody making exhaust headers? Respect needs them badly

The short answer is no one makes headers now or ever likely will. There is just no market out there, compared to say the market for Comaro/Mustang headers.

But, but if you want to be a pioneer, and have a large checkbook, perhaps some exhaust fabricator can be convinced to make a set for you. Be prepared to have your car tied up for more than a few days.

Rey is probably right. That being said, I bet our options for such things would be much better in the KDM.

I wouldn't say big check book, but you will loose the car for a week or so

My exhaust guy mentioned he would do this if there was enough demand. It won't be for at least 6months, and they set will be between $1-2k if he decides to build.

Correct. We were adding more resonators and got to talking about this last weekend. It's a bit out of my price range, but I told him i would put feelers out for him...I just haven't done that yet.

I like your exhaust minus the tips and drone I've thought about doing headers, just unsure how car would respond without tune

We just added tuned resonators. Initial purchase covers one for each muffler. I added another per side. Each is tuned for a certain RPM. Mine cover from about 800-2k. Outside the original purchase price, the additional tubes cost $100 each including parts. Takes about 2hrs to make each.
