If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have warm air coming out of vents even though its set all the way to cold. its not just warm its a bit hot but not as hot as a full on heater would do. Still on summer days it gets pretty hot inside the car.

I have tried using re circulation it minimizes it a bit but still there is a warm air coming through. Like there is heat on Low settings(even though the dial is all the way down to blue line)

im sure its not normal as it is a bit unusally hot. Alot of other people have sat in my car and told me why is it so warm in here

I cant figure out why is this happening?

A/C works fine when set. But i cant have A/c on alll the time.

I did some tests to measure how hot air im getting out of those vents compare to ambient temp.

ambient temperature : 27 C ( 80 F)
Air from vent on circulation mode : 32 C (89 F)

Any help is appeciated.

If it is noticed only in the rear seats, maybe the heater dial on the rear of the console is cranked up. I noticed my 2012 will actually cause a melted plastic smell if the dial for the rear passengers is set to full vent heat.

Deleted duplicate.

Just set your temp setting to the temp you want in the cabin. Let the car worry about whether it turns on the AC, or not.

Looks like he drives a coupe. Do they have rear vents? Many sedan drivers forgot about the rear vents being on heat setting, myself included.

When is the last time you had your freon checked? Possible leak?

I'm sorry, but I'm having a LOL moment. Reading your post, exactly as you wrote it....says to me, that you're wondering why your air vents are blowing in warm air....in the summer...while you're NOT running the A/C. Am I right? Your car's engine heat, along with outside temp will effect your inside cabin air.

And lastly, why can't you have the A/C on when needed? Or as you put it, "But i cant have A/c on alll the time."

In the hot months, my friend, you'll have to buck-up and spend the extra pennies per month to have a cooler cabin.

that wasnt my concern that i dont want to throw money on AC. sometimes i like to have my windows down while im driving specially if its just City. I live in canada so 5 out of 12 months we have our windows up because of cold and rest of month i didnt want to have windows up again because i need AC.

i have had cars previously why im not expecting cold breeze to come from car vents without AC i didnt expect it to throw air like its running heat on low.
