  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i have a warning light that shows up as 3 semi-circles and the triangle exclamation mark that shows up around the rear tires of the car icon on the dash and in the HUD since getting new tires on my 2022 GV70. The warning light 1st came on when I replaced the front passenger tire after getting a flat tire. We assumed it was because I only replaced 1 tire on the AWD so we bought 3 more so they were all the same (replaced them with the same tires that came with the car). The warning lights consistently come and go and show up on 1 or both rear tires on the car icon on the dash. There is nothing in the manual or online that shows the triangle master warning light with those 3 lines around the tires and the Genesis service center said everything checked out ok on the 32,000 mile service recently. How can everything check out ok if these warning lights consistently turn off and on nonstop? Is anyone familiar with this?

To me, those circles look like a graphic for a radar type sensor. I'd have the ones on the right rear checked out.
Did the service department see the phot you have here?

Yes and they said they checked it all out but nothing panned out. I think you are right because I noticed this morning that any car that approaches mine on either side triggers those graphics.

Check out all the driver assistance settings (there are a ton)....maybe one of them was changed when in for service

Maybe check the sensors on the outside of the car too make sure they're clean. Maybe something got stuck on one (or it has a greasy smudge on it) that's causing it to think you're too close to something.
Did it not do it when you were at the dealer (typical)?

If so, you have nothing to worry about. The system works as designed.

Awesome. Thanks
Just to be clear... the symbol which you say looks like 3 semi-circles will light up when there is a vehicle in your left or right blind spot respectively. They will also light up when another vehicle in the lane next to you (left or right) approaches at high speed even though at the time they are not yet in your blind spot. Those symbols work in conjunction with the triangle indicators in your side view mirrors. This system works when your speed is (I believe) higher than 15mph. Below that the symbols and the indicators in the side view mirrors will not light up even when somebody is in your blind spot.
You can find all the information related to this in your manual. For my 2023 Genesis GV70 this starts on page 7-32 (BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (BCA) (IF EQUIPPED). Your 2022 may be on a different page but with the same or similar title.
