  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Would anyone know if the warranties and Genesis services (i.e. valet) are transferable to a second owner?

No. 2nd owner only gets the 5/60 warranty. Only way to get the powertrain warranty transferred is to buy it from a Hyundai dealer as CPO.

Thanks John. That directs my focus back to new.

I just bought a 2017 G90 (not from a dealer) with 6k miles on it. My local Hyundai dealer offered me a Hyundai Platinum warranty for $2,300 that provides 100,000 miles or 10 years ON THE ENTIRE CAR. Buy a used Genesis, save $20k+ and start with a better warranty than the original buyer. It made sense to me.

Sounds like a good deal and smart move to me. At that mileage it is just broken in.

Not so much for the first person that bought it...

Don’t you wonder why they returned it after 6k mile?

May have been a program car...or someone may just not have liked it
Though that would have a very expensive change
