  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

warranty issue

nope sorry to disappoint you i am 44 college degree make over 6 figures and work hard for it. so until you know someone shut up.

I think we have learned a lot about you.

Among other things, it looks like you got film-flamed by the dealer over an extended warranty plan. Repeat, WARRANTY, plan.

Isn't it "flim"?

J/K ........nothing serious

BTW, I don't believe that this is a flim flam issue. I view it more as something different :)

Just goes to show you that a college degree and a 6 figure income is no barometer of common sense.

not sure about anything at this point, the customer service rep at hyundai corp told me that their is a road hazard warranty that is an additional warranty. either way they wanted $880 to do the work, i found the part for $85 online and called a mechanic that i have had for years and he said he can do it for less than half what they wanted and he is familiar with the genesis sedans. Sorry if i was wrong about warranty, just what i was told, but am disappointed with many on here for how they responded to the post. this is suppose to be somewhere to get answers or help not to be criticized by people who do not actually know me.

Early on you were advised that the issue described was not one covered by warranty. Isn't that the answer or help you were seeking?

Take care.

right now i am satisfied with the people on here who actually answered the post with respect. unlike you, so i have learned a lot about you as well, probably very old, and very prejudice towards people under 35 who you think just want everything for free. i am sure there are some out there like that but there are a lot that are not as well. Don't pass judgement until you really know someone.

if everybody answered posts like you we would have a lot less people on this site due to ignorant responses.
