  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Website with Technical Service Bulletins - Broken wires in trunk

Since pretty much every other wire was broken, did you take a good look at the shielded wires? A blue and pink inside are the cameras wires.
hmmm--- can you elaborate? Do you mean that one really thick wire, it might be in there? thx for the help!

Yes. That thick/shielded wire is for the camera.

According to the schematic, there's a red wire (separate, outside of the shield) for camera power. Inside of a black/orange wire (shield) is a pink for ground and a blue wire that is the camera signal. If the pink or blue is broken... no camera.

And it's certainly possible to splice the camera cable too. Just splice the ground mesh around the outside as well as the wire inside.
