  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well after some years, and my previous 2015 Gen Sedan being wrote off in an unfortunate accident, I'm finally back in the driver's seat of a beautiful Genesis machine! Got into a '22 G70 2.0T Advanced AWD, and loving it so far! I see this site is still awful as ever to upload photos to, but rest assured, the car looks great! Lol

Few mods I plan to do:

- Tune
- Wheel Spacers (any recommendations on how to get the stock multi-spoke wheels flush? 20mm spacers look slightly too wide; does anyone know the perfect spacing for perfect flush or ever so slightly tuck fitment?)
- Lowering springs/coilovers

Other than that it'll probably remain mostly stock. Don't want it to be loud or insane power, I've got my Cobra track toy for that. Lol

Cheers folks! Glad to be back. :)

2022 or 2023? And do you CA guys get the key card on the 2.0T? My 2.0T Sport Prestige RWD doesn't have it on the menu, so not possible to even program one ordered separately, like I could do with my 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy. The 2022 3.3T SP I briefly owned, had one from the factory.

Edited that in. It's a 2022. Not sure which keycard you're referring to. I have the fobs obviously, and we have the Genesis Connected Services App and a 5 year subscription built into the price which you can use to control a whole bunch of stuff. Not sure if that's what you mean, or if it's something else.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Welcome to you who lives in the land of grey skies, grey land and grey sea. I visited Newfoundland and against my expectations found it enchanting.

The 3.3T SPs have it. It's a feature where you can program an NFT card (like a credit card with a chip) to open and start the car if you lose a fob; pretty neat. And in addition, you can program your phone as a key too, like on my ex-2021 Tesla, and lock the car when you walk away. I'd only program a card, like I did on the 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy. But there's no 'key card' menu under vehicle settings. Look in your car, but I assume it won't be there, just like on my car. But I'd appreciate if you can confirm that :). I was under the impression all G70s had that feature, but that's not correct. In fact, not even the top 2.0T trim does, and that sucks. Oh well. I don't think the base 3.3T has it either. Thank you. Oh, and the key card cost $100, when the Hyundai one cost $30; go figure.

Oh, yeah I don't have that feature on mine. Not even an option in the menu, and wasn't advertised as a part of the package. Sounds like a good backup feature to have though!

It's a lovely little island, for all of its' rain, drizzle, fog. You really get a whole lot of different geology as you travel the island as well. From mountains, to forests, to glacial barrens and sub-arctic tundra. Bit of something for everyone! Lol

Thank you for confirming that. Now I know it wasn't the software update, which was possible. Sad Genesis removed so many features from 2.0Ts; makes no sense, especially when you could buy a fully-loaded one in 2021. Oh well. At least they added ventilated seats on the top trim for 2023, or I'd have gotten something else... which is the minimum Genesis could do after jacking up the price over 2 grand. Thanks again for your help.
