  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Right now over at sharkracing I only see a g70 CF fuel door which I personally would not invest in. However, they have CF mirror covers for the K5 and door handles for the stinger and veloster, so I assume it's only a matter of time before these come for the g70.

Pretty excited. Will definitely be ordering the mirror covers. Door handles seem a bit pricey.

I realize I'm definitely in the minority on this, but I like the notion of CF because of the physical advantages (strength and weight-savings); not for the appearance. I am not a huge fan of the look of unpainted CF.

I think it's the functionality that makes it look amazing to me. Purely as a design choice IDGI. However, knowing that it presents a functional advantage over other materials makes it attractive.

That's why I've never understood CF vinyl film or tape.

I get your point though, CF mirror covers/handles etc will not really provide any real advantages, so it is mainly for looks.

I'm not a fan of the look either, especially in the interior. It seem like cheesy boy-racer VTech stuff.
