  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Now that the Hankooks are being replaced, I was going to pay the difference to get Turenza Serenitys for my V6 2015. I had them on my 2010 and they were very quiet, smooth, and wore well.
Is there a quieter tire available or is the Turenza still a great choice.

Any inputs

thanks

I have been eyeing them for replacements on my 2012 at some point. Great reviews on the Plus in here.. The Firestone shop (and they are a good shop for most basic and semi complex work) claim they have not had a set come back during their money back period. And those that come back for the balance keep saying how quiet and nice handling they are as the miles roll on.

The answers to all your questions are at tirerack. Find the size, look at the tests and then check the user responses for Hyundai's using the filters.

BTW, I find the Hankooks to be pretty darn quiet.

If ya just gotta have performance AND quiet, I would go with a Michelin. There's one for you, and it is probably is not cheap.

Have to agree I think the Hankooks are extremely quiet.

Consumer Reports website has extensive comparisons and rankings of tires. For anyone really interested in comparisons and not just reviews, the website subscription price is well worth it.

Brian, I agree.

And if anyone takes the time to check CR and then verify with tirerack, you will have exactly what you need.

If you don't want to cough up a few dollars for CR online, tirerack.com will usually nail it.

I used both to get the tires I am running on the Mazda MX-5, and I could not be more pleased.

Swapped the stock tires for Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus's on the OEM 17's and they are pretty quiet. Not sure what consumer reports or tirerack says though.
