Yes, Reggie has them on (prototype/test springs, probably GT-F) originally and he didn't like the drop, so he went with GT-S - more aggressive drop, which is ~1.6 for a V6 and 1.75 for a V8.

Now, here are some pictures of my car, before and after...

1. original, unmolested suspension

2. lowered it on GT-S springs front drop is 1.75 rear 1.25

3. front on a new GT-F with mild drop of 0.5 inch. I left the rear for now, since both type of springs S and G looks the same, so the drop will probably stay the same.

Yep....That's why they (ARK Performance) offered me another set, this time GT-F's which I had to pay for it as well....and now I'm stuck with both sets!

BUT.... I'll talk about it in another thread I'm gonna make - how ARK Performance is trying to fu*k me over!

New wheels finally got here. Sorry for the mid-day lighting and the filthy state the car is in, just wanted to get this posted. Will take better shots tomorrow after I wash her. ARK GT-F springs are on the way, if they will ever ship them to me.

20x8.5 +35 Advanti Rasatos on 255/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Best part, these are 3 lbs. lighter each than the stock 18s with the warranty replacement Michelins.

From that angle, it looks like it's already lowered. Wheels are nice, though.

Btw. When ARK shipped mine, twice, they came within 4-5 days.

I find aftermarket wheels often looks like too dark of tinted windows. Instead of complimenting your car, they tend to instantly draw your attention to them in a bad way. Your wheels and tint (and your color) all look really nice and make the car look very expensive. Nice Job!

Took out my steering wheel

So today was the day to remove my steering wheel to be thickened up and recovered by a steering wheel specialist. But I ran into the biggest PITA problem that took me about 3 hours to finally conquer.

Removing the airbag was a huge hurdle. There is a small hole underneath the SW where a small Philips screwdriver will release the bottom of the airbag. But the top just wasn't going anywhere. My repair manual left out specifically how to do this part. I kept inserting a small screwdriver into the many slots in the back of the SW....using a small mirror to see....and turning the wheel every which way to get more space to work. I watched youtube videos, googled everything, but just couldn't get the airbag to release on the upper half.

Finally, I was able to insert a small rod in the holes I knew had to be holding this bitch back. I could hear a spring moving and wallah! I got one side out. A few minutes later I got the other side out. Meanwhile, the whole time thinking I'm handling a small bomb. And yes, the battery was disconnected. Then the steering bolt required a 3 ft pipe over my socket handle to function as a breaker bar. Plus I had to hold the steering wheel with my other hand because it wants to turn with it. What a bastard that was! My car has just over 2k miles.....

Love to know details on how you tied the subs in...

I had it installed by the pros. My knowledge of electrical doesn't go beyond knowing +ve and -ve wires and splicing them. So disappointing that 17 speakers and not any combination of them had decent base. The aftermarket setup completes the sound spectrum nicely.

Well today think I did something that nobody's else has done I put the 2014 injen intake on my 2016 genesis sedan and it fit perfectly but had to make minor modifications but it was well worth it to how nice it feels and sounds hopefully I was the first to try since I couldn't find anything about this on the forum

My mods now

Injen intake
Full custom exhaust with dynomax vt mufflers (very stealthy when want to be)
Ark lowering springs
Staggered offset wheels
Genesis trunk wings add-on and removal of word "genesis&3.8"
And 15% tint all around
