  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you do with your DH Genesis today?

Finally, after 3 weeks in the shop, I got my car back.

Big shout out to the owner Tom at Rada Auto Inc. in Elk Grove Village in IL. They did beautiful job matching the paint, changing spark plugs, installing the JB4 tune on my car, which is almost invisible! tell me if you can spot it! haha!

So, if you need a friendly, professional mechanics/body shop, doing ALL in ONE, look no more - Rada Auto Inc. is where you need to be.

On top of that....it was a please to meet another member of our group kocyk123

Pleasure meeting you! You have a beautiful car. It looks, rides and sounds like a dream!

Went on a bit of a shopping spree. Weathertech floor mats, Snow tires on wheels with TPMS sensors & LED blinkers

You know....I went to the store pick up some stuff, and of course WOT'ed every time I had a chance and I think the car pulls harder then before, first time we drove it together. Haha! ~4600lb and it pulls like a train, it's just stupid quick/fast! I love it! :drive::spoton:

Awesome! I am very jealous now... I wanted to get G90 as my next car buy after riding in your car, I might change my mind :-) Enjoy your "new" ride ;-)

New wheels are coming in, in next week ;)

Yes, I did say that. The G80 sport AWD came with adaptive control suspension, no reason to butcher it with lowering springs, I prefer ride quality over look. Since G80's springs are ~10% stiffer, the ride if just fine, reminds me of my e39 540i/6 sport package.

@kocyk123 took a ride with me the other day and he agrees that riding on 20's low profile tires with this suspension is smooth.

Do you know if the 10% stiffer springs from the G80 Sport will fit on a 2015 Genesis 5.0 ultimate?

I'd say it should fit in w/o any problems. Like ARK GT-F/S lowering springs fits 3.8/5.0 RWD/AWD.
My new project. Installing some G80 stock springs on my 2015 5.0.:)

Why? They look like your current wheels except for being a lighter color with less spokes? The new wheels look good though.

New wheels are VMB5, that's 5 double spoke instead of 7 double spoke. I have some curb rush on them and Wife decided to get me a new set, so.... I don't argue with her, I'm sure she's right ;)

They may appear to look different, but it's the same color - Matte Gunmetal.

382HP/462TQ not bad at all :alright:

That is why I love the new 3.3 twin turbo engine!!! A tune bring HP numbers to about the same as the 5.0 V8 and adds over 100 ft/lb of torque. That is insane!!! Plus, even in stock form the turbo engine's torque is much lower in the rpm band than the 5.0 V8 which give it the same 0-60 with less HP and with the same amount of torque as the V8. Very nice.:)

Correction: I see that the similar 0-60 runs in stock form is from a rear axle ratio change from the 5.0 V8's 3.54:1 to the 3.3TT V6's 3.91:1.
I was assuming that extra low end torque was the reason.

However, I wonder if the 0-60 time will change much with the tune since extra torque only goes so far to increase performance. Think diesel engines that can make 400 ft/lbs but only about 200 hp and are slow are crap. However, the extra HP should be good for shaving about 1/2 a second off the 0-60 I bet.

What is the max torque rating for the 8 speed automatic? Can the automatic transmission handle an additional 100 ft/lbs of torque?

All I can tell you now, whatever there is, I love it. It's almost unbelievable to see that ~4600lb. car can pull so hard!

I'll make some videos next week and post it here, to show you guys how it runs, lol

man that torque can restart a dead planet.
